This is a full certification class taught by the instructional staff of Scuba Steve's Dive Shop. Once completed, the students will be certified as a Junior Open Water Scuba Diver with the training agency of NAUI. 

All Participants must be able to:
tread water for 10 minutes
swim 200 yards
pay attention and follow instructions!
pass a medical screening prior to attending

The schedule for the camp  is as follows:

Monday through Friday from 9am - 2PM at East Texas Aquatics, 11594 TX-248 Spur, Tyler, TX 75707

The students will be in the classroom from 9am till 11:30am, then they will be in the pool from 12:00 until 2:00pm.
 
At the completion of the pool and classroom sessions, the students must go to Open Water Checkout to complete their certification. This is done at the Scuba Ranch dive park outside of Terrell. The dates for the checkout will be June 18th and 19th.  

The cost of the class is $399.00
The only additional cost is 20.00 per day for entry into the scuba park for checkout weekend
