A few things you need to know before you start training
You will be required to complete a swim test prior to training
The first part of the test is a tread/float for 10 minutes. The second part is a 200-yard swim.
Swimming and proficiency in the water are an important component in scuba training.
So, if you are ready for the challenge, follow the steps listed below and you will be on your way!
Double click on the quick link this will take you to the Tyler Junior College Continuing Education page where you will choose the dates for the class you want. Then you will pay for the class right there on their web site. They will send you a receipt for your class as well as a student ID number. Please make sure to keep that number handy.
Next, you will need to double click the quick link This is where you need to create a profile with our training agency TDI SDI. Please make sure to put a headshot of your pic on your profile as this will go on your C card upon completion of your course.
You are almost done! Please send me a text to 903-216-1811 and include the following
your TJC student id number
the email address you used in your SDI profile
Once I receive this information, you will receive an email from SDI with your login info for your E-Learning portion of the training. Please make sure this E-learning is completed prior to coming to your first class
