My name is Billy Hunter. My wife and I earned our scuba certifications in February 2004 through Scuba Steve’s, and we both fell in love with the sport immediately. I continued my training and became a Divemaster in 2005, then advanced to Instructor in March 2006. My wife earned her Divemaster certification in 2010, and we enjoyed countless hours together in the water working with students.

I eventually managed the shop and later became the owner. After about ten years, I decided it was time to move on and return to my career as a welder.

My top priority for every student is safety. Safe divers are built through knowledge, discipline, and—of course—making sure we have fun along the way.
